A special ceremony was organized at the Karachi Press Club to celebrate National Minority Day on August 11. The event was attended by political leader Rakesh Motiani, senior journalists, community representatives, and social activists.
During the ceremony, participants highlighted the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah regarding equal rights for minorities in Pakistan. They emphasized that National Minority Day serves as a reminder of the important role minorities play in the progress and development of the country.
Speakers at the event, including Syed Sajjad Rizvi, Shamsher Ahmed Shaikh, Mushtaq Soomro, and other dignitaries, appreciated the contributions of minorities in various fields and called for continued efforts to ensure their protection and empowerment.
The event concluded with a cake cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity, harmony, and the recognition of minorities as an integral part of Pakistan.
